Well, Gus is an adventurer 44 years old who spent the half of his life travelling around. He got some academic experiencie, but he was working in almost everything. Now, he's in south Spain, doing for himself a powerboat with intention to live in it and go the longer as he can. For this matter, he still studyind different kinds of propulsion, looking for economy and ambientally friendly tecnology.
He pays to learn about hydrogen technologies, and do different researches about Stirling engines, steam, and a lot of questionables, or complex or expensives new options. Finally he found an article of the 30's in Popular Mechanics Magazine, with just a bit of information about an experiment convertig the vertical motion of water waves in horizontal displacement.
Filling something good about this, and trying to go deeper he knew about norwegians and japaneses tests, and some more. Finnally, he contact Mr. Francoise Kneider, a self made man, who is a good inventor, including wave powered boat, and still asking him how to do somethings.
This source of energy is endless in open waters, the only problem is to found a good system, including propulsion devices and hull design, to reach a reasonable speed.
Gus spent the last two years in this project, investing all of his resources and now is time to put it in practice. He will be thankfull if somebody else likes to contribuite in this project, with donation, opinions, or whatever. Another big and expensive catamaran complete a tryp from Hawaii to Japan this year, going very slowly. But we are talking about a 19 feet narrow boat, a bit poor, but all can do together some history, crossing for first time the Atlantic using wave power!

Gustavo es un hombre de 44 años que estuvo la mitad de su vida viajando, y si bien tiene cierta formación universitaria, la mayoría de los trabajos que ha hecho han sido físicos y operativos. Ahora está en Cádiz, España, acabando de construir una lancha que permita pernoctar en ella y llegar lo más lejos que pueda.
Por esta razón estuvo los últimos dos años estudiando diferentes sistemas de propulsión alternativos, ecológicos y económicos. Pero ninguno llegó a convencer por ser o demasiado caro, o poco fiable o incluso descabellado. Finalmente, lleguó a un artículo de la revista Mecánica Popular de los años treinta, donde se hacía breve mención a un experimento con um modelo a escala de barco, propulsado por la energía de las olas del mar. Queriendo profundizar un poco más, encontró que los noruegos y japoneses están investigando este tema, pero no son eficientes en cuando la velocidad final no hace el resultado práctico. Por fin encontró referencias al Sr. Francoise Kneider, un autodidacta que ha registrado varios inventos, entre ellos un barco propulsado por este sistema; siendo así se puso en contacto con él.
El sistema de propulsión propuesto tiene una fuente de energía inacabable en aguas abiertas. Lo difícil es lograr un buen equilibrio entre el sistema de propulsión y el casco que permitan una velocidad razonable.
Dedicó los últimos dos años en cuerpo y alma a este proyecto, ahora con vuestro apoyo podemos hacer historia juntos, siendo el primer barco en hacer la travesía con este sistema. Un japonés realizó un viaje entre Japón y Haití este año, usando un catamarán muy caro y la última tecnología en todo; pero iba muy despacio. Podemos ser los primeros en intentarlo en el Atlántico! Incluso con un barco mucho más pobre, de seis metros, aunque diseñado con la última tecnología. Sus donaciones, opiniones, etc., serán de enorme ayuda.
