I recently put out a new record called "Even Though The Sky Was Falling". It's a fine album, if I may say so myself! :) Reviewers seem to like it too. The Globe & Mail says I have "a magical way with song". And, "Very simply, this delicate, sweetly-melodic Toronto songstress needs to be heard." Nice, eh? Jonathan Bensimmon (The Field) is directing it; he's a *fabulous* filmmaker who has made videos for artists like Jill Barber, Peter Elkas and Radio Radio,etc. We have already filmed the video using a FACTOR grant, and it's being edited now. BUT, there is still quite a shortfall, so please do pitch in and help me get this video released!

I am an independent artist. I don't have a financial backer. There is no music label footing the bills. Any funds for expenses I either raise through arts grants or through private donations from friends, family and fans and through generous folks like you who support the arts just 'cuz it's good to do.

I am totally happy to share this info with you, including the breakdown of my budgets; it may surprise you to hear how much it costs to put out a record & make a video!
