http://listn.to/larraskyeHi! I'm Larra Skye, an independent singer/songwriter in Toronto, Canada. I'm going to be recording a full album, my second CD, titled "Wishing Tree". It will include pop / folk songs that I've written, and wonderful collaborations with writers Emma-Lee and Marcel Aymar (of Franco-Ontarian group CANO).
Last fall, I recorded new demos ("Pull Me In" and "Grain of Sand") with bassist/producer Marc Rogers (Shannon Butcher, Philosopher Kings). These songs are now up on my website at

Since releasing my debut album "The World Disappears", I've played festivals and clubs from St. John's, NL, to Vancouver, BC (not to mention a few U.S. dates this past fall). I'm self-taught, and have learned so much about music from the fantastic musicians I've played with over the years (Dave Restivo, Marc Rogers, Anthony Michelli and more). I have worked hard since my independent album was #1 in HMV Canada's jazz department, and I believe I am about to make my best album yet --- an album that will appeal to pop, folk, jazz and blues fans around the world. I can't wait to start the recording process!
To make this happen, I need your help. Because I am an independent artist, you have the chance to truly make a difference. Your funds will help to cover some of the musician, recording studio, mixing, mastering and graphic design costs that will be incurred in making "Wishing Tree".
