Georgia Wonder need your help!
Hi people we're a UK band called Georgia Wonder (
http://www.gwonder.com) and we're in a bit of a spot.
We're about to start our Made In Nevada project (
http://www.gwonder.com/madeinnevada) and the only thing we've not managed to get sponsorship for is an HD video camera.
We've managed to get an entire music shop (Nevada Music), mixing desks (courtesy Allen & Heath) and an online video partner (Muzo.TV) but no video camera!
So what's it all about?
Made In Nevada is a six month project where we're going to be recording our next album in a music shop and posting a video blog of what goes on over that period.
We're known for doing stuff like this as our three page spread in PC Plus magazine this month shows:

After much research we decided on the Panasonic HDC HS300 which is around £800 in the UK ($1330).
We DO have our own less expensive tape based video recorders but the quality isn't good enough, and using tape over the six months will not only be costly but will almost double the amount of time we need to spend dealing with the footage.
