No One's Watching - Canadian Short Film *Name of film has been changed to "No One's Watching" from "Cull the Weeds".

Hi everyone;

My name is Justin Tomchuk, and I am a filmmaker currently living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This fall, I will be directing a short film I wrote along with my colleagues at the NSCAD University Film program. It is tentatively titled "No One's Watching" and it's set in a recession struck Halifax where crime and corruptness permeates the characters in the film.

We are looking for sponsors and associate producers to raise funds for the film’s budget. We’re hoping to raise at least $1500, in addition to the RBC grant we received for a total budget of $4000.

We will be shooting on location at various places within Halifax using state of the art equipment, including the Red One camera which records in 4k resolution, the next generation in digital film.

We need your help to make this film a success. As a thank you, we can offer the following for those who’d like to contribute and support local independent filmmaking in your community and Canada.

$1-19 will receive a full credit in the Special Thanks.

$20-99 will receive a full credit as a Sponsor, a an invite for an exclusive online screener (watch the finished film before it even hits festivals!)

$100+ will receive a full credit as an Associate Producer, an invite for the online screener and a physical DVD copy of the film when completed, shipped to your address.

Updates on the progress of the film will be made available at www.tomchukfilms.com

Thanks everyone for your support!
