Help Ian volunteer in Haiti

I need your help to raise money for my volunteer effort in Haiti this coming May.

I am going to volunteer with a project called "Homes for Haiti". This project is phase 1, supplying Canadian-built VANCOR panel homes (earthquake and hurricane resistant).

We will start to train Haitians in the proper construction of floating concrete slabs and assembly of these homes, as well as start to utilize local window manufacturers for all the homes. Phase 2 will seek to establish the manufacturing of these homes within Haiti, and create sustainable jobs in:

* manufacturing
* transportation
* construction
* management

EMCC and VANCOR are teaming up to offer a permanent housing solution for Haiti and other developing countries.
These homes are hygienic, eco-friendly and offer just over 500 square feet of living space. Three bedrooms, a living, dinning and small kitchen area can adequately house up to a family of 10 people.
