James and I would like to thank all the folks who have donated to our Kapipal recording fund "We're Having a Baby". We feel incredibly fortunate to have so many great friends and supporters.
We've had a few delays due to scheduling problems, etc. but the project is coming along great and in order to meet all the deadlines for publicity and distribution etc. and in the spirit of the "new baby" we've decided to release the new CD on Mother's Day 2012. The CD also has a new name, Rough Edges and Ragged Hearts, a song that I wrote in 2005 with Al Mader (aka The Minimalist Jugband). We're really excited to have special guest appearances by Gurf Morlix, Ray Bonneville, Doug Cox, Stephen Nikleva and Pharis Romero on the CD too. Saveria Renucci has again come up with a great design concept for the CD artwork and we can't wait to share it with you!

Yes on Mother's Day, 2012 my husband James and I will give birth to our beautiful brand new CD “Rough Edges and Ragged Hearts”. This project is very special to me because it’s the first CD since meeting James, my retired donkey rancher turned poet, on the internet a few years ago. I am now blessed with a husband, manager and best friend as well as co-writer of many of these songs.
It’s been a journey of the heart. From once thinking love had passed me by to the feeling I now have it all!…all except the means to finance this baby!
