DECEMBER 7TH...

Wow! We have raised $20,000! Incredible. Really incredible. Thank you.

Here is the scoop on where we are right now and are immediate plans for the future....

Next week the café closes and so right now our efforts are mainly going into business continuity and close down planning. As well of course as organising the BEST 4 DAY PARTY EVER!

Once the café has closed, we are going to take Christmas off. Let the dust settle and allow the emotion and excitement to sink in.

The last 6 years have been the most rewarding and hard-working years of out lives. The next step needs calm minds and good, clear thinking.

We are excited for 2013 and thrilled to be apart of a community that cares.

SUPPORT THE FORT

Raising money to build a new, sustainable venue dedicated to fringe and amateur performance in Victoria, BC.

The Fort Street Cafe has been a hub of fringe entertainment and live music for 6 years. The stage has hosted more than 400 different bands, over 3,000 performers and has helped direct over $300,000 directly into the hands of the artist.

Sadly, circumstances have changed and we are soon to be without a home. We have a business model that works and we want to continue providing the service we offer.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

With your support we hope to raise enough money to open a new location. We will continue to provide opportunity to a wealth of artistic talent and continue to nuture amateur performance and creative expression. Strong communities start from grass roots and echo respect. The Fort Street Cafe supports a positive and diverse downtown community and we always will.

HOW MUCH ARE YOU TRYING TO RAISE

Our goal is to reach $50k in donations and incentive based contributions. This money will be directly invested into building a sustainable and unique venue for downtown Victoria.

We have the experience, desire and belief that we can make this happen. We have a solid business plan and 6 years already under our belts. We are dedicated to our city and the people who make it what it is.
